Research Interests:

Hormone signal transduction and responses

The plant hormones gibberellin regulates various developmental processes throughout the life cycle of the plant. Our lab studies the mechanisms of gibberellin signaling in tomato. We also study the role of gibberellin in plant response to environmental and biotic stresses

Major projects

  • Gibberellin signal transduction in tomato.

  • Gibberellin and DELLA proteins in plant response to abiotic and biotic stresses

  • The role of SPINDLY and O-fucosylation in the regulation of protein stability and hormone responses.
